Troubleshoot media uploads
Fix a photo or video that won’t upload or won’t post.

If a file won’t upload
- Check the format — photos: JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP; videos: MP4, MOV, AVI, WebM.
- Check the size — photos up to 30 MB, videos up to 1 GB (smaller on some plans).
- Remember a post can hold up to 35 files.
If a video uploads but won’t post
Some video formats aren’t accepted by every platform. Re-exporting as MP4 (H.264) fixes most cases — it’s the most widely supported format.
iPhone videos are often HEVC (H.265), which some platforms reject. Export or convert the video to MP4 (H.264) before adding it.
