Troubleshooting and support

Troubleshoot a failed or missed post

Why a post didn’t go out, and how to get it published.

Updated 22 July 2026

If a post didn’t go out, Cohera marks it Failed and keeps it — nothing is lost.

Common reasons

  • The platform connection expired — reconnect the account.
  • The post didn’t meet the platform’s rules (for example, TikTok needs a video and a privacy choice) — see post requirements.
  • The video was still being prepared when the post was due.
  • You’ve reached your plan’s posting limit for the month.
  • The platform’s own posting limit was hit for now.

What to do

  1. Open the post from your Calendar.
  2. Read the reason shown on the post.
  3. Fix the cause — reconnect the account, adjust the post, or wait for a limit to reset.
  4. Retry the post.
Failed posts aren’t retried automatically, and they can’t be edited in place. Once you’ve fixed the cause, retry or recreate the post.
