Make a little room to focus
A 25-minute focus timer for your creative work
By Ella
You’ve set aside time for your work, but your attention keeps moving between everything that needs doing. Even when you have some energy, it can be difficult to decide where to put it.
A focus session gives one part of your work a little room. In Cohera, the timer can help you set that time aside, with a point to pause and consider what comes next.

Start with the energy you have
Notice how you feel and work with what is available today. Choose an aim that fits, even if it is smaller than you originally planned.
Keep your weekly intention close as you begin. When your mind wanders, it can gently bring you back to how you want to approach the work. You don’t need perfect focus to return with care.
Try a session with room to learn
You could ask: “What could I prepare and schedule in 25 minutes?” Then use Cohera’s focus timer to give yourself that space.
The question is an experiment, rather than a target number of posts. You might discover that preparing content together feels easier, or that one post needs more thought than you expected.
Either can help you understand the time and attention the work asks of you. If sharing isn’t what needs your energy today, the session can be for your creative work instead.
Let the pause matter too
When the session ends, take a moment before starting another. Notice what moved forward and how you feel now.
You might be ready to continue, want to change your approach or need a break. If the task is unfinished, it can still be useful to recognise what has become clearer.
The timer gives your attention a place to begin and a moment to pause. What you do from there can stay responsive to you.
