Energy check-ins and weekly intentions
Understand your daily energy check-in, choose a weekly intention and reflect on your creative rhythm.
Updated 7 September 2026
Your daily check-in names how you feel today. Your weekly intention names a quality you want to return to. Cohera brings these reflections alongside your posting activity, helping you consider what feels manageable.
How the check-in helps
Your energy practice helps you notice what is present, without judging or forcing it. It then helps you choose an action that suits your capacity.
This is reflection, not measurement. Your state is information, not your identity.
Your daily energy check-in
Each day, choose the state that feels closest to your energy:
- Blocked: Low energy. It may feel hard to begin, think clearly or engage.
- Resistant: Something feels in the way. You may feel tense, frustrated, anxious or pulled away from the task.
- Steady: You feel grounded enough to be present, make decisions and keep things moving.
- Flowing: You feel clear, engaged and in motion. Things are moving more easily.
- On fire: You feel open, energised and full of ideas.
There is no right answer. Your energy can shift from day to day.
Your weekly intention
The qualities below describe different energetic states we can practise in how we create, make decisions and relate to others.
Choose the quality that feels like the most supportive direction for your week. You do not need to feel it perfectly every day. Your intention is something you can return to.
- Courage: Taking an honest next step, even when you feel uncertain.
- Willingness: Being open to learning, participating and moving forward.
- Acceptance: Working with the reality in front of you, rather than fighting it.
- Clarity: Bringing perspective, understanding and clear thinking to a situation.
- Love: Leading with care, compassion and connection.
- Joy: Making room for gratitude, play and aliveness.
- Peace: Choosing stillness, space and a deeper sense of calm.
Choose what would genuinely support you this week, not simply the one that sounds most impressive.
How they work together
The daily check-in names what is present. The weekly intention names a quality you want to practise.
You might choose Courage for the week and feel Resistant today. Nothing has gone wrong.
The check-in helps you respond to today’s capacity. Your intention offers a quality to return to when it supports you.
What Cohera does with your check-ins
Your check-in helps Cohera shape gentle suggestions that fit your available capacity.
When capacity feels limited, it may offer closing the day, opening your journal or taking five breaths.
When ideas are moving, it may invite you to batch work if that feels helpful.
Over time, your check-ins can reveal your creative rhythm. They can show how your energy connects with the work you share.
When Cohera sends your weekly summary, the email places your check-ins beside your posting activity.
Your weekly summary brings check-ins and posting activity together. When there is not yet enough information to describe a pattern, it says that your energy pattern is still forming.
Reflection, not a rating
Your check-ins are not a score, diagnosis or rank. No state makes you a better person or creator.
Blocked is not a failed day. On fire is not a standard you must meet tomorrow.
Cohera does not ask you to change your energy or perform a particular state. It asks you to tell the truth.
- How is your energy?
- What state are you creating from?
- What is the next action that supports you from here?
That might be creating, posting or resting. The point is to build a creative practice that works with your energy, not against it.
