Choose a weekly intention to guide how you meet the week
By Ella
You open Cohera’s weekly intention and pause. Courage, Acceptance, Clarity: the words sound meaningful, but you’re not sure which to choose or what choosing one would actually change.

Choose an intention by reflecting on what has happened
Before making your choice in Cohera, think about a recent moment that stayed with you. What happened, how did you feel, and what would help you respond?
For example:
- You’ve been holding back a post. Courage could mean sharing one detail about your work that you care about, even if you feel uncertain.
- Your day has taken an unexpected turn. Acceptance could mean acknowledging what has happened and working with what is available now.
- Something hasn’t unfolded as you expected. Clarity can offer perspective: as you look at what has happened, you might allow meaning or reasons to become clearer without forcing an answer today.
Cohera also offers Willingness, Love, Joy and Peace. You can explore what each intention means and choose the one that feels most useful for your situation.

Practise Acceptance by working with the day you have
Imagine you work a 9–5 and make jewellery in the evenings. You want to share a new piece, but a late meeting has taken up the evening you planned to film it.
You choose Acceptance as your weekly intention. You can be disappointed about the lost time and still acknowledge that it is gone. The question becomes: what can you work with now?
Perhaps you have a photograph ready and a little time to write. Perhaps you need to leave the post for another day.
If you do have room to continue, that might look like this in Cohera:
- Choose a simpler format. Use a photograph of the piece instead of making the process video this week.
- Describe one detail. Type a brief description of the material or design choice. AI-assisted captions can help bring those words together.
- Choose when to share it. Review the post and schedule it for a time that fits your plans.
Check in honestly, even when your energy feels different
You might choose Courage for the week and feel Resistant when you sit down to write. You have some energy to act, but sharing the work feels uncomfortable.
Your daily check-in can reflect that. It doesn’t need to match the quality you chose for the week.
Courage might look like typing one honest thought into your post description. If you want to return to it later, you can save a draft from the Review step and continue in the same browser on the same device.
There is no requirement to publish to prove you have practised Courage.
Return to your intention as the week unfolds
You don’t need to practise your intention perfectly for it to be useful. Acceptance can remind you to acknowledge what has happened and work with what you have. For me, Clarity is an invitation to allow meaning or reasons to become clearer with time. Courage can support an honest next step, even when you feel resistant.
Choose an intention in Cohera that speaks to what you’re experiencing.
Keep it in mind when the next decision comes along.
